1. What makes Materik® products different?
Every Materik® product uses premium, eco-friendly materials. Because of the artisan process of the Mazzucchelli production, no two pieces are ever exactly alike; subtle variations in pattern, texture, and colour are a hallmark of genuine craftsmanship, not a flaw. It’s what makes your Materik truly yours.
2. What products do you offer?
Our collection is built around the objects you carry every day: PureCase protective iPhone cases, MagSafe-compatible power banks, wireless chargers, and Apple Watch sport bands. Each one is designed to blend elegance with everyday functionality.
3. Are your products really handmade?
Mazzuchelli TPU is 100%. The Italian-made materials go through a meticulous hand-finishing process. That’s why you’ll notice natural variations between units, every case, every charger housing, every detail carries a unique character. We consider it part of the experience.
4. What does “eco-friendly” mean for Materik®?
Sustainability isn’t a marketing label for us, it’s a design principle. From the materials we source to the way we package our products, we make intentional choices to leave a lighter footprint. Our phone cases and chargers are crafted from responsibly sourced materials, and we’re always looking for ways to do better.
5. Where do you ship from, and how long does delivery take?
All orders ship from our facility in Hong Kong. For the US and Europe, we use Speed Post with an estimated delivery window of 10–20 business days. Hong Kong domestic orders ship via EMS. Taiwan and Macau orders go out via EMS or S-F Express. Delivery may require a signature upon arrival.
6. Do you ship internationally?
Absolutely. We ship worldwide. If you’re ordering from Europe, please be aware that your order may be subject to local customs duties and taxes, depending on the value and your country’s import thresholds. These fees are determined by your local customs authority.
7. Can I return my order?
Yes. We offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery. Items must be unworn, unused, and returned in their original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and tags. You’ll need your order number or receipt as proof of purchase.
8. How do I start a return?
Simply email our team at support@materikstory.com with your order number, the item(s) you’d like to return, the reason for the return, and photos if the product arrived damaged or defective. Once approved, we’ll send you detailed return instructions.
9. Who covers the return shipping cost?
It depends on the reason. If you’re returning due to personal preference (colour, style, or a change of mind), return shipping is at your expense. For customers in Hong Kong and Mainland China, approved returns include free return shipping; we’ll provide a prepaid return label or arrange pickup.
10. Is there a warranty on Materik® products?
Every new Materik® product comes with a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase. This covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Our warranty sits alongside, and never replaces, your local consumer protection rights.
11. What isn’t covered by the warranty?
The warranty doesn’t cover damage caused by tampering, unauthorized modifications, misuse, abnormal physical or electrical stress, cosmetic wear from normal use, or use in conditions outside our guidelines (for example, outdoor or wet environments). Products must be used indoors and in dry areas only.
12. Why does my case look slightly different from the product photos?
That’s by design. Because each product is handcrafted, natural variations in the pattern and colouring will occur. No two Materik® products are identical; the piece you receive is one of a kind. We see this as a feature, not a bug.
13. Are your cases compatible with MagSafe and wireless charging?
Our PureCase line is designed with MagSafe compatibility in mind, allowing seamless use with MagSafe chargers and accessories. For specific compatibility details, check the product page of the model you’re interested in.
14. Do you offer any discounts or promotions?
We occasionally run exclusive promotions and limited-time offers. The best way to stay in the loop is to follow us on Instagram or sign up for our newsletter. First-time visitors can also enjoy a special welcome offer, look out for it on-site.
