Origin

MATERIK products are manufactured in China. The handcrafted TPU surface material used on PureCase is produced in Italy by Mazzucchelli.

How to identify your product

Every unit carries a conformity label on the packaging showing:

  • Model code, for example MP-IP18PM-BR (PureCase, iPhone 17 and 18 Pro Max, Black Reef)
  • Compatible device
  • Batch number, in the format year, month and factory code, for example 202608F26008
  • Inspection date and country of origin

Please quote the model code and the batch number in any warranty or safety enquiry.

Materials

  • PureCase: polycarbonate, TPU, handcrafted Italian TPU film, tempered glass, magnet assembly, aluminium alloy.
  • CrystalCase: polycarbonate, aluminium alloy, tempered glass, liquid silicone, magnet assembly, aluminium.

Safety information

  • Magnets. These products contain magnets. If you use a pacemaker, a defibrillator or any other implanted medical device, consult your physician and the manufacturer of your device before use.
  • Magnetic media. Keep the product away from credit cards, hotel keycards, transit cards and other magnetic stripe cards, which may be damaged or de-authorised.
  • Glass. Models with a tempered glass back can chip or break on impact. Stop using the product if the glass is cracked, and handle it with care to avoid cuts.
  • Heat and fire. Do not expose the product to open flame, high temperature or prolonged direct sunlight.
  • Small parts. Keep packaging and small components away from children.
  • Cleaning. Clean with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use solvents, alcohol or abrasive cleaners.
  • Intended use. These are protective accessories. They reduce the risk of damage, but they do not make a device shockproof or waterproof.

Packaging and disposal

The retail box and the inner tray are paperboard, material code PAP 22, and belong in paper collection. Please check the rules of your local municipality before disposing of the packaging.
